The tempo of a song determines how fast or slow the song plays. The tempo is defined in terms of beats per minute (bpm). |
The Player mode allows changing the tempo while the song is playing (method 1) or setting it when no song is playing (method2). |

Start playing the song with either of the play buttons. |

Use the left |
and 
right tempo buttons to adjust the tempo. The result is displayed next to the buttons. The song will pick up speed or slow down depending on what you do.

In real life tempos vary in the 40 - 208 range. The high values possible in FastChords are just for fun.
