Just like in Chords mode, in Table mode chords can be inverted in both directions by clicking on the INV buttons.

Here are a few points about chord inversion:

there is no undo for chord inversion.  To fix an error simply reverse directions.

melody notes are not affected, only the underlying chord.

the chord symbol of inverted chords contains a slash (/) followed by the bass note.

slash chords cannot be inverted.

there is no way to differentiate between inverted chords and slash chords.  See Inverting Chords and Slash Chords.

Depending on preferences, the INV operation affects the chord in the keyboard, or the chord in the chord table.  See Preference Settings.

When preferences are set to "apply to chord in table", the INV buttons have a red dot on their face.
